About PantryWise

We built a pantry app that connects the whole grocery routine.

PantryWise starts with a live picture of the food at home, then carries that context into expiration tracking, recipe discovery, meal planning, and shopping. The goal is simple: fewer disconnected lists and clearer everyday decisions.

Why it exists

Pantry tracking should lead somewhere useful.

A list of groceries is only helpful when it changes what happens next. PantryWise is designed so the same inventory can help a household notice food that needs attention, find recipes that fit, plan the week, and identify what is actually missing at the store.

That connected workflow is the product. Scanning and automation matter because they make the inventory easier to maintain—but the real value is turning current kitchen information into better cooking and shopping decisions.

We build for busy families, partners, roommates, solo households, meal planners, and anyone who has stood in a grocery aisle wondering whether there is already another jar at home.

The connected product

One source of truth for what happens next.

Start with inventory, then use it across the rest of the household food workflow.

How we build

Product principles you can see.

Useful visibility first

A pantry app should answer everyday questions quickly: What do we have? What needs to be used? What are we missing?

Every feature should connect

Inventory becomes more useful when recipes, meal plans, and shopping lists can respond to what is actually at home.

Maintenance must stay practical

Barcode, receipt, voice, text, manual, and supported store inputs give households more than one way to keep information current.

Trust beats inflated promises

We explain what is free, what belongs to Pro, where subscriptions are managed, and which capabilities are available today.

Built and supported by Valiantum, LLC

Valiantum, LLC develops PantryWise and publishes the app for iPhone and Android. Product questions, bug reports, and feature ideas are handled through the PantryWise support channel.

How we publish product information

Our guides are written around workflows that exist in PantryWise. We identify Pro features where relevant, link readers to the detailed product pages behind each topic, and use the in-app purchase screen as the source of truth for regional subscription terms.
