If you downloaded PantryWise from the Apple App Store:
• These Terms are between you and PantryWise, not Apple Inc.
• Apple is not responsible for the Service.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support.
• Apple is not responsible for product claims, including:

•Consumer protection claims
In the event of a failure of the app to conform to any applicable warranty, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price (if applicable). To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple will have no other warranty obligation.

If you downloaded PantryWise from Google Play:
• Your use of the Service must comply with Google Play Terms of Service.
• Google is not responsible for the Service.
• Any payments processed through Google Play are subject to Google’s billing terms.
• Refunds for purchases made via Google Play must be requested through Google where applicable.
PantryWise provides:
• Pantry & inventory tracking
• OCR receipt and product scanning
• AI-powered suggestions
• Expiration tracking
• Telemetry analytics
• Marketplace functionality (if enabled)
• Subscription-based premium features
PantryWise does not manufacture, store, sell, inspect, or certify food or consumer products. Our models are simple predictions based on data you input and industry standards. We are not responsible or liable for spoiled items.
PantryWise uses third-party providers for:
• OCR image processing
• AI interpretation
• Cloud storage
• Analytics & telemetry
• Payment processing
When you scan items:
• Images and metadata may be transmitted securely to third parties.
• OCR and AI outputs are automated and may contain inaccuracies.
• PantryWise does not guarantee accuracy of product names, expiration dates, quantities, or classifications.
You are solely responsible for verifying all scanned information.
PantryWise is not liable for damages resulting from OCR errors, AI misinterpretations, or third-party processing failures.
PantryWise provides informational tools only.
We do not:
• Guarantee food safety
• Verify expiration dates
• Provide medical or nutritional advice
• Certify freshness
Users are solely responsible for determining whether food is safe for consumption.
PantryWise may offer free and paid subscription tiers.

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled.
• Billing occurs through Apple App Store or Google Play.
• You authorize recurring charges.
• Pricing may change with notice.

• iOS users must cancel through Apple Settings.
• Android users must cancel through Google Play.
• Deleting the app does not cancel your subscription.

• Free trials automatically convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.
• You may be charged at the end of the trial period.
Any marketplace features allowing user-to-user transactions or interactions are at your own risk. PantryWise is not a party to any agreements between users and assumes no liability for goods exchanged.

If you use the free version, liability is limited to $100.
If you are a paid subscriber, liability shall not exceed the total amount paid in the past 12 months.
You agree that:
• Any dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration.
• You waive the right to participate in a class action lawsuit.
• Arbitration will occur in Cincinnati, Ohio.
• Each party bears its own legal fees unless otherwise required by law.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms, without prior notice or liability.
Any abuse of our services, or present security risks will result in termination.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. The "Last Updated" date will reflect the most recent revisions.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which PantryWise operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
